Living in the Southwest United States and particularly in or near the Mojave Desert means there generally are two seasons during which wild flowers and other desert foliage blossom. Springtimearizona-desert-300x200 always brings about early blooms, which can be very picturesque. But when the summer heat arrives, the plants wilt and turn brown for the summer. But many plants also revive during the fall after the heat begins to lessen and the late-summer monsoon season in Arizona brings rain over into area. When that happens, the roadside blooms and fall lighting can prove especially beneficial for outdoor photography.

Many Wonderful Landscapes and Desert Flowers

There are ample opportunities to for outdoor digital photography in the area, and the fall is a great time to take in some of the national and state parks that are too hot and at times too crowded during the summer months. Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks, Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Death Valley and the Grand Canyon, and the Valley of Fire State Park and the Spring Mountains offer many great fall outdoor scenery and possibly some wild horses for photographers to shoot with digital efficiency.

New Digital Cameras Can Improve Shots

Taking great pictures is helped when using a good digital camera. Canon and Nikon are well-known for their high-quality digital cameras, but many people don’t have hundreds or thousands of dollars to spend on them. Fortunately, a good rental or rent-to-own plan can make them more accessible. Whether looking for a standard zoom digital camera with more than 12 megapixels of memory for each photo up to the high-end Nikon D7100 with more than 24 megapixels available, there are many great cameras available with rental and rent-to-own plans that make them far more affordable and accessible for many people.
